The Chevy Suburban Celebrates 85 Years
The Chevy Suburban has been around so long that it arrived on the market at almost the same time the Hoover Dam was built. Appearing on the scene in 1935, the Suburban was known as the Carryall Suburban and offered seating for eight and 60 horsepower. Now, 85 years later, the latest Suburban can seat up to nine passengers and offers an available 6.2-liter V8 with 420 horsepower.
