      • Very happy so far.

I traded my 2012 Altima SL for a 2020. I must have hit it just right, end of month, end of quarter, I felt like I got a great deal. I was very happy with the 2012, 64000 miles, only repair was a $300 alternator. The 2020 is noticeably more powerful, even though the engines are the same. The biggest difference I noticed is the gas mileage. I never got better than 27 MPG with the 2012. My first highway trip with the new one I got an amazing 39 MPG. I am averaging 34 MPG city/highway, which I love. I really like the exterior styling and think it stands out compared to the Camry and Accord. I shopped all three cars, and while all are good, in my opinion the Altima is by far the best value. I do wish it had memory seating, and believe it should at the SL price point. My wife and I share it, it's a pain to always change the seat settings. I know, minor issue, quit whining. Otherwise I am very pleased so far, the car is extremely comfortable, performs well, and looks great.
      • Love this car. Not sure I'll ever NOT own a Nissan

I've owned Nissans for years, two Muranos and two Rogues and in between I had an Altima. I loved it then until winter hit and in Central PA you need a car that will go in the snow, and I wasn't having much luck with my FWD Altima, so back to the Rogue. Cut to the Altima offering AWD and I ran to the dealership to get one! The AWD is a game changer, it's a must have where I live. I love it so much, everything about it, the ride, the gas mileage, the roominess, the massive display screen. If I had to nitpick about anything it would be the extremely small glovebox, although I guess I don't need a big one, and the fact that the passenger seat isn't height adjustable like the drivers seat, so when my husband drives I feel like I'm sitting a foot below him. Niether thing would deter me from buying the car again. Which I will do in about three years.
      • CVT VCT... Best Midsize Sedan I Tried Them All

Not sure what all complaining about Nissan CVTs are? They are smooth, reliable, comfortable, accelerating really fast, great fuel consumptions. According to the reviewers CVT-s are good everywhere, in Accord-s, Subaru-s etc.... just not in Nissan. Yeah right the Nissan CVT-s are the best in the business. And the regular automatic transmissions are somehow sporty but not CVT-s. Give me a break... this is from a guy driving 3 pedals manuals for 40 years . And a new VC-T engine - let me tell you -it's a light year ahead of the competition. Probably the best 4 cylinder engine ever made.
