2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV

The Equinox EV comes in two distinct trim levels: LT and RS. The LT trim features 19-inch wheels and offers optional roof rails through the Convenience Package. For a more distinct appearance, the RS trim adds sportier styling elements, including 21-inch alloy wheels, a black roof, and standard roof rails. The Equinox EV features a sleeker, more aerodynamic design compared to the rugged, muscular appearance of its gas-powered counterpart, with clean lines and a commanding stance that optimizes efficiency while maintaining a modern aesthetic.

Two powertrain options are available for the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV. The front-wheel-drive system uses a single motor producing 220 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque. For more power, the all-wheel-drive variant employs dual motors generating a combined 300 horsepower and 355 pound-feet of torque, offering significantly more power and quicker acceleration than the gas-powered version.

All models feature an 85-kilowatt-hour battery pack. The charging system offers multiple options to fit different lifestyles. DC fast-charging capability can add 70 miles of range in just 10 minutes. For home charging, Level 2 charging with the standard 11.5-kilowatt onboard charger can add up to 34 miles of range per hour, while upper trim levels with the 19.2-kilowatt onboard charger increase the charging rate to 51 miles of range per hour.

The Equinox EV delivers strong acceleration across both configurations. The FWD model reaches 60 mph in 7.7 seconds, while the AWD version achieves the same speed in a brisk 5.8 seconds. Range varies by drivetrain, with the FWD model achieving 319 miles and the AWD version offering 285 miles on a full charge. The electric powertrain includes multiple levels of regenerative braking and one-pedal driving capability. The instant torque delivery provides responsive acceleration at any speed.

The Equinox EV comes standard with a class-leading 17.7-inch touch-screen infotainment display paired with an 11.0-inch digital instrument cluster. The cabin provides a spacious environment with comfortable seating for up to five passengers and offers up to 57.2 cubic feet of cargo capacity with the rear seats folded. The RS trim adds the option of an Adrenaline Red interior theme for a more distinctive look. Both trims provide supportive seating and high-quality materials throughout the cabin.

Every 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV includes over 15 standard safety and driver-assistance features, including the comprehensive Chevy Safety Assist package as standard equipment. This package comes with automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, forward collision alert, following distance indicator, and IntelliBeam auto high beams. Additional driver-assistance technologies are available, such as adaptive cruise control, Super Cruise hands-free driving capability, and a 360-degree camera system.
