The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is available in nine trims. The base WT features a black grille with black bumpers and 17-inch steel wheels. The Custom trim has body-color bumpers and 20-inch aluminum wheels. The LT adds a chrome center bar grille and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The RST comes with body-color bumpers, black bowtie emblems, and 20-inch painted aluminum wheels. The Custom Trail Boss incorporates a 2-inch factory suspension lift, the Z71 Off-Road Package, performance red recovery hooks, and 18-inch High Gloss Black-painted aluminum wheels. The LTZ features chrome mirror caps, door handles, and grille inserts. The LT Trail Boss matches the Custom Trail Boss's 2-inch lift and Z71 package while adding a black mesh grille with a "CHEVROLET" stamped bar. The High Country's exterior adds chrome accents, bronze details, and 20-inch Sterling Silver-painted wheels. The top-of-the-line ZR2 includes a steel front bumper and 33-inch off-road MT tires.

The 2.7-liter TurboMax engine powers the WT, Custom, and LT trims, generating 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The RST and LTZ models feature a 5.3-liter V-8 that delivers 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. The High Country and ZR2 come equipped with a 6.2-liter V-8 that produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. An optional 3.0-liter Duramax diesel engine is available on LT and higher trims, offering 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. The 2.7-liter Turbo pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while V-8 and diesel engines utilize a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Silverado 1500's performance capabilities vary by configuration. The 6.2-liter V-8 and 3.0-liter diesel engines deliver a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds. Payload capacity ranges from 1,870 to 2,260 pounds depending on configuration. Trail Boss models include a 2-inch factory suspension lift and electronic locking rear differential for enhanced off-road capability. The ZR2 maximizes off-road performance with Multimatic DSSV dampers, larger tires, and front and rear electronic locking differentials.

A 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are standard on LT and higher trims, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Other higher trims include leather-appointed seating with heated and ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and a premium Bose sound system. The convenient tailgate system offers six functions: primary gate, easy access, full-width step, load stop, inner gate load stop, and work surface.

Every Silverado 1500 includes Chevy Safety Assist with automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, and lane-keep assist with lane departure warning. Also available are a 360-degree camera system, hands-free driving capability, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring.
