The 2025 Chevrolet Trax offers five distinct trim levels. The LS trim with the LS Convenience package includes 17-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels and body-color mirror caps. Sporty design elements are added to the exterior of the 1RS, while the 2RS features an ultra-sporty exterior package. The ACTIV trim presents a muscular design with modern styling accents. The 1RS, LT, 2RS, and ACTIV models offer an available power sunroof, and all trims come standard with LED headlights.

The exterior dimensions of the 2025 Chevrolet Trax measure 178.6 inches in length, 71.8 inches in width, and 61.4 inches in height. It maintains a 106.3-inch wheelbase and provides 7.3 inches of ground clearance.

All 2025 Chevrolet Trax models come equipped with a 1.2-liter turbocharged I-3 engine that produces 137 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. New for 2025, the engine can run on E85 fuel.

The 2025 Chevrolet Trax accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 8.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 115 mph. It offers fuel economy ratings of 28 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, and 30 mpg combined. On the highway at 75 mph, the Trax provides a driving range of 390 miles. The vehicle demonstrates strong handling capabilities with a 0.84 g-force measurement on the 300-foot skidpad test.

The LS and 1RS trims feature an 8-inch touchscreen, while the LT, 2RS, and ACTIV models include an 11-inch touchscreen paired with an 8-inch digital gauge cluster. All models include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The interior comfortably seats five passengers, providing 98 cubic feet of passenger volume, split between 54 cubic feet in front and 44 cubic feet in the rear. Cargo capacity starts at 25.6 cubic feet and expands to 54.1 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. Select trims offer heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and wireless phone charging.

The 2025 Chevrolet Trax comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist, which includes forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beams. Optional safety features include lane change alert with side blind zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.
